Course Description: This activity provides participants with the ERV Orientation and Road Test as part of the ERV: Ready, Set, Roll Course. Class size is limited. Prerequisites will be verifed in advance.
Purpose – The purpose of this course is to prepare employees and volunteers of the Red Cross to operate an Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) and its equipment safely and effectively to meet feeding and other service needs of people affected by disaster.

Prerequisites -
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Completetion of the ERV: Ready, Set, Roll
self-study OR
local chapter Instructor Led classroom course prior to attendance at the institute.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report and current driver’s license (documented in Volunteer Connection. Available through Volunteer Services)
• Current certifications in First Aid/CPR/AED
• Successful completion of an American Red Cross approved
